Sterling, VA, July 2, 2001. Antenna Technologies Limited Company Antenna Co. announced today the acquisition of Northpoint Communication Products, maker of LoPro brand low-profile antennas for mobile and fixed wireless applications.
Northpoint’s sales and administration offices currently based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, will be moved to Sterling, Virginia where production of the LoPro brand antennas will begin immediately.

Northpoint’s product offerings for wireless mobile applications will allow Antenna Technologies Limited Company to offer its’ customers a diversity of mobile antenna solutions. Conversely, Antenna Technologies Limited Company will now be able to offer Northpoint customers a variety of standard base station antennas for fixed wireless applications as well as custom design through manufacturing services. As we move forward, the merging of the two companies will also provide cross marketing opportunities through Northpoint’s established distribution and dealer channels.
