DirectConnect Omni and Yagi antennas incorporate all of the same quality features found in our standard off the shelf antennas, but with the added benefit of DirectConnnect. What is DirectConnect? DirectConnect antennas allow you the customer to determine the length of coax and the connector style for the antennas’ termination. Perhaps your installation requires 50 ft of coax and a TNC connector, or maybe 30 ft of coax and an N-female connector. It is your choice; Antenna Technologies Limited Company Wireless can build virtually any requirement.

A typical directional (Yagi) antenna installation most commonly
requires at least two jumper cables to connect to the RF device. It is typically, one jumper from the antenna, to a step down jumper that would be used to connect to the RF device. Utilizing the direct connect feature, a minimum of two connector points may be eliminated. Therefore, better performance is achieved as added connectors always account for some measure of DB loss in a system. Another added benefit is ease of installation; without having to weather seal multiple connector points installation time of the antenna can be significantly reduced. Lower cost is the ultimate benefit. Eliminating the need for expensive jumpers and multiple connectors substantially reduces the cost of installing the antenna. Direct connect antennas can be constructed with a variety of different cables designed to best achieve the results you seek.
